How can I convince my mum or even my dad to buy me a coat off ebay?
I said to my mum "Mum, I know you don't like ebay, but I really would like to buy this coat. It is cheap at only £18 and £3.50 postage which = £21.50 and I will pay for it and I'll pay for the postage. Also its stylish and will keep me warm during this cold winter." my mum said "I have already bought you a coat which was £30." I said "But it is a cropped bomber grey coat and doesn't keep me warm enough, because it isn't long enough." Mum said "Well then you wasted £30 of my money, because you chose that coat and I bought it for you." She also said " I'm not letting you buy clothes online, because I lost 2 skirts in the post worth £51 and I have to wait 24 days to get a refund." She keeps saying no and won't let me buy the coat, how can I convince her?

keep asking your parents why they won't let you, buy it. is there something wrong with saving money? ask. Also tell them all the good sides of the coat. I also recommend saying: which coat should i buy? this one (the ebay one) then show this other really expensive and ugly one. Say that they HAVE to choose one, and they'll probably go for the ebay one. If nothing works, just make your own account, buy it, then dis- activate it. or you can ask your friends or their parents if they could buy it for you (and you give them money). Also spill something on your coat, then be like oh, no! I can't wear this again! Good luck, and hope this helps!
