How tacky are ivory satin sheets with a 800 thread sateen duvet cover?
it was an impulse buy. I orginally bought red satin sheets but returned them for the ivory with lavender. am I off my rocker? or is it going to be one great night sleep?
Anything more than 400 thread count is going to be great to sleep on for a night or two, then stretch out of shape and not wash well. Sorry - you'll regret your purchase if you really want to regularly sleep on those sheets. I work for a major hotel chain and worked with the vendor to come up with our sheet selection at over 3,000 hotels worldwide. If you still can, return the sheets, get a nice set of 350 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and give yourself a nice gift with the money left over.
